Rambler

I wore this all winter on truly bitter cold walks after dark. I thought I might regret the lack of a hood but I simply wore a hoodie and a cap when it was needed. Otherwise my western hat was fine. Got mine in black which was classy with corduroy and brass trim. Sleeves; the gussets at the shoulders and wind seals at the wrists were standouts. Freedom of movement even with super thick hoodies underneath. My best gear. Will buy more stuff. Nice oversize zipper (I HATE little zippers.).

My go-to Carhaart Detroit jacket —now in tatters—no longer comes in the color I like so I shopped around for an alternative. Had never heard of Dri-Duck until I did some Googling regarding Carhaart knockoffs (I’ve been very loyal to Carhaart). This Rambler jacket has exceeded my expectations. Pocket design is very well though through, blanket lining is cozier than Carhaart, fit and finish appears to be top notch. This is just a fantastic jacket. It remains to be seen if it’s as bulletproof as the Detroit jacket, but I’m very pleased so far.

Amazing quality tough jacket with lots of functionality. The only 2 things i wish were different are adding a zipper into the cell phone phone, and having a full neck zip instead of a courdoray collar. My neck and upper chest are the first things to get cold. Having a phone pocket zipper is handy for not dropping your phone when leaning over and working at awkward angles. The jacket also runs big. I usually wear an xl or xxl in everything. I'm 6 ft 245 lbs. I had to return and go with a large. Otherwise the jacket is awesome
