Product reviews

Reviews Summary
Customers say this jacket keeps them remarkably warm while remaining lightweight and comfortable. Many report staying cozy in sub-zero temperatures, with room for layering if needed. The jacket runs slightly large, with ample space for movement. While most praise its wind resistance and comfort, some mention issues with the zipper being difficult to operate. The hood design receives mixed feedback, with several noting it could benefit from better adjustment features. The jacket's pockets earn praise for being roomy and well-placed, though a few wish for a larger chest pocket.

Very nice jacket however not as thick and warm as I hoped. Also not a fan of the velcro sleeve adjustment. Looks weird once I tightened them up a bit.

Unmatched Performance: A Must-Have for Outdoor Professionals

I purchased the Kodiak jacket to replace a similar one from Walls, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Living and working in Texas, where winters can be unpredictable, I needed a jacket that could handle the elements. As a water utility worker, I’m outdoors year-round, at all hours, and this jacket has already proven itself indispensable.

This week (January 6th, 2025), we faced a low of 22°F with 30–40 mph winds, and the Kodiak rose to the challenge. I’m a big advocate of layering, typically wearing a heavy-blend hoodie under my jackets for extra warmth and neck coverage. While my Walls jacket served me well, the Kodiak surpasses it in several key areas.

The Kodiak’s longer length is a standout feature, providing better coverage and protection from the wind. It’s also roomier, making layering much more comfortable. The construction feels solid and durable, and the hood design is unique—spacious, adjustable, and easy to cinch down for a snug fit.

After just one day of wear, I handed my Walls jacket off to my wife. Today, I spent hours outdoors in 25°F weather with gusting winds while working on water meters in open areas. The Kodiak exceeded my expectations, keeping me warm and shielded. In fact, I found myself getting a little too warm after completing tasks, and once back in the truck, I had to remove the jacket within a few minutes.

This jacket is an absolute game-changer for anyone working outdoors. Its quality, durability, and performance are unparalleled—it’s built…

Kodiak Work Jacket Size & Fit

I ordered the Kodiak Work Jacket size L relaxed and it fit good except the arms were a bit too long and overall length a little long but ok. Also a little bit too roomy but will be great for layering. I contacted customer support to see what the recommended and they were super helpful. After speaking with them I decided to order a M relaxed just to compare and decided to keep the L because the M fit well but was a little too snug in the chest and abdomen so I kept the L and will be returning the M. Had a couple days of cold weather in the 20’s and 30’s and the jacket did a great job of keeping me warm while only wearing jeans and a t shirt underneath. I imagine it will have no problem keeping me warm all winter with maybe a hoodie underneath for those really cold days/nights.

    Great jacket

This jacket is very light but incredibly warm. Make sure you double check sizing though because it runs large. I normally wear an extra large in all my shirts and jackets but decided to go with a large after reading other reviews. I’m glad I did because the large fits perfectly with enough room to fit a sweatshirt underneath. I highly recommend it
